UVA Field Hockey’s Madison on Leave

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia Athletics announced today (Oct. 26) Michele Madison, head field hockey coach, will be on leave for the remainder of the 2023 season, including the post season. Madison is in her 18th season at Virginia.

Ole Keusgen, the Cavaliers’ associate head coach, will serve as acting head coach.

Fifth-ranked Virginia finished its 2023 regular season with an 11-5 record. The Cavaliers will be the host school for the 2023 ACC Championships that takes place Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and Nov. 3 at UVA’s Turf Field.
