CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 7 Virginia men’s squash team opens the season against No. 25 Navy on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. at the Prager Family Squash Facility in Annapolis, Md.

HOW TO FOLLOW

  • Live scoring and live video stream will be available for the matches
  • Admission is free to all Navy squash matches. A reminder to fans planning on attending matches, vehicular access to the Naval Academy is limited to those with a Department of Defense identification card. It is suggested that fans park downtown and walk through the main gate. Please note that a government issued identification card must be carried and presented at the gate

CAVALIER NOTES

  • Virginia opens the season with a Mid Atlantic Squash Conference match against Navy
  • Virginia has won each of the last four MASC Championships
  • The team opens play ranked No. 7 in the CSA rankings
  • UVA will have a different player at the top of the ladder for the first time in four years with the departures of All-Americans Aly Hussein and Omar El Torkey
  • Taha Dinana moves up to the top position. The senior was All-MASC First Team last season with a 12-2 record
  • CJ Baldini returns for his third season after going 8-3 at No. 6 last season and 11-8 overall after picking up 10 wins his freshman year
  • Virginia is 5-1 all-time against Navy including sweeping the last three meetings
