CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 7 Virginia women’s squash team (5-1) closes out the 2023 portion of its schedule with two home matches this weekend at the McArthur Squash Center in Charlottesville, Va.

Admission is free for all home matches.

  • On Saturday (Dec. 2), UVA hosts No. 1 Harvard (1-0) at 12:30 p.m.
  • On Sunday, Virginia hosts No. 11 Dartmouth (0-1) at 11 a.m. (note the new time for this match)

CAVALIER NOTES

  • Three Cavaliers have 5-1 records this season: Nili Sprecher, Lina Tammam and Olivia Walsh
  • Tammam comes into the weekend having won her last four matches
  • The Cavaliers are a combined 15-3 at ladder positions 2-5 and are 5-1 at No. 9
  • The match against Harvard is the fifth top-10 team the Cavaliers have faced this season
  • This is the third time in program history they have faced the No. 1 team, playing Harvard (L, 9-0) in 2020 and Trinity last season (L, 6-3)
  • Virginia is 2-1 this season against Ivy League schools
  • Virginia is 0-2 against Harvard and 3-0 against Dartmouth
