Roller Takes Sixth At Cleveland State Open
CLEVELAND – Sophomore Keyveon Roller took sixth place at 133 pounds on Saturday (Dec. 9) to lead three members of the Virginia wrestling team in competition at the Cleveland State Open.
Roller went 4-2 on the day, posting three victories by major decision, on the way to the sixth-place finish. His two losses came to wrestlers from Michigan and Missouri.
Also competing for the Hoos were transfer Sammie Hayes (125), who was in action for the first time as a Cavalier, and junior Gavin Cagle (157). Cagle was competing in his second tournament of the season.
