No. 6 Virginia Wins 4-0 Against No. 24 Georgia
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 6 Virginia men’s tennis team (6-3) picked up a 4-0 victory against No. 24 Georgia (4-2) on Friday (Feb. 9) at the Boar’s Head Sports Club in Charlottesville, Va.
Grad students James Hopper and Edoardo Graziani opened the match with a 6-1 win on the top doubles court. Freshman Dylan Dietrich and senior Alex Kiefer clinched the point with a 6-3 win on court three.
In singles, senior Chris Rodesch picked up a 6-4, 6-3 win on court one that was quickly followed by a 6-2, 6-2 victory by Dietrich on court two. Hopper clinched the victory with a 6-4, 6-2 win on court six.
