CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 9 Virginia men’s squash team (9-6) plays the final two matches of the regular season this weekend at the McArthur Squash Center in Charlottesville, Va.

The Cavaliers host No. 3 Princeton (12-2) on Saturday at 12 p.m. and No. 7 Cornell (8-6) on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Please note the revised start time for the Sunday match.

HOW TO FOLLOW

  • The men’s and women’s teams will be playing simultaneously, each with a 3 Court System
  • Admission is free

CAVALIER NOTES

  • Virginia secured its place in the field of the National Collegiate Team Championships, the top-level tournament, with its No. 9 ranking in the final updates ahead of the championship
  • The Cavaliers were the runners-up at the MASC Conference Championship last weekend in Philadelphia
  • Junior CJ Baldini enters the weekend having won his last seven matches. He is 11-4 on the season, and 8-2 in his last 10 matches
  • Junior Max Velazquez has won his last five matches and also has 11 wins this season, posting an 11-3 mark
  • Sunday will be Senior Day match for Taha Dinana, Myles McIntyre, and Drew Barr. The team will celebrate its seniors in a private ceremony after the season
