CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 12 Virginia travels to the Longhorn Invite on Saturday (April 27) in Austin, Texas.

The Cavaliers will race No. 1 Stanford, No. 2 Texas and No. 14 Ohio State in a highly-competitive field on Lake Walter E. Long beginning at 10 a.m.

“It’s always a very competitive field at the Longhorn Invite,” UVA head coach Kevin Sauer said. “We’ve had a lot of fast races this spring. Unfortunately, we haven’t been on the top end of those races. We’ve had a lot of illness and injuries but are starting to get some student-athletes back. So, we’re excited and really looking forward to the racing.”

UVA will send five crews (Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Third Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four) to the Longhorn Invite. NCAA Championship scoring will be used to determine the invite champion.
