– Appeared in 12 of UVA’s 13 games with 11 starts … started the first 10 games at right tackle … missed time in the Miami and Virginia Tech games with an injury … started against Navy at right tackle in the Military Bowl … posted 30 knockdown blocks, including a season-high five against UConn … averaged 4.25 knockdown blocks a game during UVA’s four-game winning streak over UConn, Boise State, Duke and North Carolina … helped block for Kurt Benkert, who became the first Cavalier in program history to throw for over 3,000 yards in a single season.
