HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL
Played wide receiver and defensive back at The Westminster Schools for head coach Gerry Romberg … first-team all-region as a senior … made 58 tackles, intercepted four passes and broke up eight more as a senior in 2018 … also made 30 receptions for 567 yards and six touchdowns … notched 965 all-purpose yards … as a junior made 38 tackles, one fumble recovery, two interceptions and broke up seven passes … made 15 receptions for 312 yards and added 531 all-purpose yards … also was a midfielder on the lacrosse program … scored 63 goals, dished out 28 assists and picked up 65 ground balls as a senior … scored 41 goals, recorded 22 assists and picked up 55 ground balls as a junior … member of the National Honor Society … volunteer work includes being a bible study leader and being on yearbook staff … son of Helen and Paul Izlar … has a younger brother, Henry … has two older sisters, Spencer and Elizabeth … father, Paul, played football at Vanderbilt and transferred to Virginia where he lettered in 1977 … enjoys hunting, fishing and occasionally playing golf.
