2012– Started eight of the 11 games he played it … earned second letter … finished the season ranked No. 8 all-time at UVa in career passing (4,731) and No. 7 in all-time TD passes (27) … finished seaon with a career completion percentage of .603 – which ranks No. 3 all-time at UVa … also finished the season No. 8 all-time at UVa in total offense (4,829) … finished season No. 3 all-time at UVa in career 300-yard passing games (4) … posted his third career 300-yard passing game with 311 on 25-of-37 passing and a TD against Richmond … went 6-of-6 for 97 yards and a TD on the game-winning drive against Penn State … threw for 278 yards and two TDs vs. La Tech … came off bench to throw for 83 yards and TD at NC State … started vs. Miami and had a career-high 4 TD passes and set UVa record with 18 consecutive completions … started the North Carolina and Virginia Tech game to finish the season … the Penn State and Miami games were the third and fourth games of his career that heengineered a fourth quarter game-winning drive in the closing minutes. 2011– One of 13 Cavaliers to have started all 13 games … at the age of 19 became the youngest UVa QB to win his first two career starts in program history … with 2,671 passing yards he ranks No. 1 at UVa among starting QBs in their first season … season total ranks No. 4 all-time for a season at UVa … passed for 174 yards in first career start, serving as the seventh-most in program history by a UVA QB making his first career start … passed for a career-high 307 yards with 2 TDs at Maryland … fourth 200-yard game and first-career 300-yard game (307) at Maryland … MD game also represented back-to-back 200-yard performance (226 in Week 8 at Miami) … tossed No. 13 all-time at UVa with six career games with 200 or more yards passing … led two 4th quarter comebacks for a win, both of which were on the road (Indiana & Florida State) … was the starting QB as UVa became the first college program to ever win road games at Miami and Florida State in the same season … tossed for 312 yards against Auburn in the Chick-fil-A Bowl … the Chick-fil-A Bowl performance ranks No. 2 in the UVa annals for a bowl game and is only the second time a UVa signal caller surpassed 300 yards passing in a bowl … the 26 completions against Auburn is a Virginia bowl record. 2010 – Appeared in six of Virginia[apos]s 12 games … went 4-of-6 with a touchdown for 64 yards in his collegiate debut against VMI … teamed up with Marc Verica and Ross Metheny against VMI to become the first UVa quarterback trio in the post-World War II era to toss touchdowns all in the same game … his TD strike coupled with Metheny[apos]s against VMI served as the first time in program history two freshman threw scoring strikes in the same game … went a perfect 3-of-3 for 12 yards in the second quarter at Boston College … completed at least one pass in every appearance (VMI, North Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Maryland, Boston College and Virginia Tech) … first option off the bench in four games (Eastern Michigan, Maryland, Boston College and Virginia Tech).
