SUMMER 2023: Played for the Charlottesville Tom Sox of the Valley League … played alongside future UVA teammates Jacob Ference and Henry Ford … helped the Tom Sox to a 32-20 overall record and eventually lost in in the VBL Championship series … started 26 of the 27 games he appeared in, all of his starts came at DH … Hit .294 (25-for-85) with 25 runs scored, five doubles, four home runs a triple and 18 RBI between regular season and playoffs … had four more walks than strikeouts … recorded a hit in 18 of the 27 games he appeared … against Front Royal on July 29, went 3-for-3 with two home runs, a double, five runs scored and four RBI. He tied the Tom Sox single-game record for runs in a game with five against Front Royal on July 29 … ended the season on a 12-game reached base streak.

• Son of Garett Teel and Janine Libutti
• His brother, Kyle, was a first round pick (14th overall) of the Boston Red Sox in the 2023 MLB Draft. He and Kyle were at UVA together for one season (2023). Aidan and Kyle are the seventh set of brothers to play for head coach Brian O’Connor at UVA and only the second set to play on the same team (Jake/Zack Gelof).
• His father Garett was a 11th round draft pick (318th overall) of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1989 draft. He spent five seasons in the organization both as a player and coach.
