• UCF ranked seventh in FBS in total offense and featured the country’s No. 4 rushing attack (233.2 ypg).
• According to Pro Football Focus, only allowed one sack and one hurry in 90 opportunities.
• Graded out (81.4) as the 16th-best center in the country according to PFF.
2020-22 (Stanford)
• Two-time member of the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.
• Graduated from Stanford in three years.
• Played for current UVA offensive line Coach Terry Heffernan while he was in the same role at Stanford (2021-2022).
• Played in three games as a junior in 2022.
• Appeared in all 12 games as sophomore in 2021.
• Did not see action as a true freshman in 2020, retaining his ability to redshirt.
• Squared off against fellow UVA transfer Chris Tyree while he was at Notre Dame twice (2021 & 2022). Heffernan and Metcalf won the 2022 meeting at Notre Dame, 16-14.

• Learned to play the Scottish Highland Bagpipes after seeing them played at grandfather’s funeral. Can also play the guitar.
