CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Due to inclement weather, Wednesday night’sgame between the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech at Dan DanielsPark in Danville, Va., was cancelled. No make up date has been scheduled,and, because of scheduling conflicts, likely will not be.

Virginia now will turn its attention to its final regular-seasonAtlantic Coast Conference series of the season at Clemson this weekend.However, game times for the three-game set have been altered.

Rather than play one game on Saturday night and a doubleheaderSunday afternoon, the Cavaliers and Tigers will play at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.Saturday with a single game Sunday at 1:15 p.m. The Saturday night game andthe Sunday contest will be carried on AM 1070 WINA and can also be heardvia the internet at http://www.wina.com.

The Cavaliers enter the weekend percentage points behind Marylandfor seventh place in the conference standings. The Terrapins will play theACC’s top two teams, Florida State and Wake Forest, in their final twoconference series.
