CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia women’s basketball freshman guard Dominique Toussaint (Staten Island, N.Y.) has been named the ACC Rookie of the Week, as announced Monday afternoon (Feb. 6) by the conference office and voted upon by the Blue Ribbon Panel.

Toussaint scored a team-high 16 points in the Cavaliers’ overtime win against Georgia Tech on Thursday. She scored Virginia’s final eight points of the first quarter, keying the Cavaliers to a 19-14 lead at the first break. Toussaint added another 10 points against Duke, leading the Cavaliers in scoring for the second-straight game.

This is the second-straight ACC Rookie of the Week honor for the Cavaliers as Jocelyn Willoughby (East Orange, N.J.) earned the accolade last week.

The Cavaliers will play at No. 16 Miami on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. Virginia returns to John Paul Jones Arena to host Wake Forest on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m.

Single-game ticket prices for all home games are $10 for Reserved seating, $8 for adult General Admission and $6 for youth (18 & under), senior (60 & over) and UVA faculty/staff General Admission.
