CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia women’s basketball team (14-9, 3-9 ACC) travels to play at Pittsburgh (7-15, 0-11 ACC) on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

  • The Cavaliers are looking to end a five-game skid. Pitt has lost its last 10 games
  • London Clarkson scored a career-high 23 points on Thursday night at North Carolina. It was the third-straight game in which a Cavalier scored at least 20 points. Camryn Taylor had back-to-back 20-point games, scoring 20 points at Syracuse and 22 against Virginia Tech
  • Clarkson’s 23 points was the second-highest single-game total by a Cavalier this season after Mir McLean’s 24 at Penn State
  • Clarkson has scored in double figures in five of the last six games, averaging 15.1 points per game in that six-game span. All of those performances have come from off the bench. She has not started a game this season

  • The Cavaliers are third in the ACC in assists per game with 15.5
  • Virginia is third in the ACC and 17th in the nation in rebounding, averaging 42.7 per game. The Cavaliers are second in the ACC and 24th in the nation in rebound margin at +7.8
