CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia forward Camryn Taylor has been selected to participate in the 2024 Women’s College All-Star Game on Saturday (April 6), joining other seniors from across the country in a nationally televised contest on ESPN2. The game will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Wolstein Center on the campus of Cleveland State in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Women’s College All-Star Game provides 20 of the country’s brightest stars one final opportunity to represent their programs and be recognized against the backdrop of the sport’s championship weekend. Intersport, an award-winning Chicago-based agency that first launched a national women’s college basketball all-star event alongside the WBCA 25 years ago, will host the event.

Taylor will suit up for Team Lieberman, which will be coached by Naismith Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman. Taylor is one of three ACC players to participate in this year’s All-Star game. Syracuse’s Dyaisha Fair and Louisville’s Sydney Taylor will compete alongside Taylor on Team Lieberman. Taylor and the rest of Team Liberman will challenge Team Miller, which is led by Hall of Famer Cheryl Miller.

This past season, Taylor finished second among all Virginia players in points per game (14.8), which is currently good for 13th in the ACC, and led the team in scoring in 14 out of 32 total contests. She also led UVA in rebounds per game (6.1), free throws made (96) and double-doubles (4). In 2023-24, Taylor shot 46.5 percent from the field and 83.5 percent from the charity stripe, good for ninth and fourth, respectively, among all ACC players.

While at UVA, Taylor averaged 14.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game and shot 45 percent from the floor. She was tabbed a Second Team All-ACC selection in 2022-23. Taylor transferred to UVA from Marquette in 2021, where she earned All-Big East honorable mention and All-Freshman Team honors. She concluded her collegiate career with 1,583 points and 725 career rebounds. Taylor earned her degree in sociology from UVA in December 2022.
