CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.–Four members of the Virginia rowing team have been named 2015 College Rowing Coaches Association Pocock All-Americans, the CRCA announced Monday (June 15). Senior Lizzy Youngling (Westport, Conn.) and junior Sam Casto (Dallas, Pa.) were named to the first team, while senior Hemingway Benton (Glencoe, Ill.) and sophomore coxswain Colette Lucas-Conwell (Palo Alto, Calif.) were recognized on the second team.

All four were members of the Cavalier Varsity Eight that finished third at the NCAA Championships in May. They were part of the V8 that won the ACC Championship and was named ACC Crew of the Year and were members of the crew that finished as the top collegiate boat at the Head of the Charles in the fall. They were also named to the CRCA All-Region 3 First Team. Youngling was named to the all-region first team for the second-consecutive season, while Benton was honored on the second team in 2014.

It is the 15th-consecutive season Virginia has had multiple All-Americans and the 17th-straight year UVa has had at least on member on the first team.
