CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia (4-7, 0-2 ACC) wrestling team continues to wrestle on the road this weekend, traveling to take on Duke (4-5, 0-2 ACC) on Saturday at 2 p.m. The dual meet will be held at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

CAVALIERS IN THE RANKINGS
The Cavaliers have a pair of wrestlers in the national rankings heading into the weekend, according to InterMat Wrestling. Redshirt freshman Louie Hayes (Orland Park, Ill.) is ranked No. 16 at 125 pounds, while sophomore and returning All-American Jack Mueller (Dallas, Texas) is No. 9 at 133 pounds.

A LOOK AT DUKE
The Blue Devils enter the weekend with an overall record of 4-5 and are 0-2 in ACC competition after dropping duals with NC State and Virginia Tech. Duke is coming off a win over Gardner-Webb on Thursday night, a 38-5 victory for the Blue Devils. Duke also posted wins over Cal State Bakersfield, Northern Colorado and a win by criteria over Navy. Duke has wrestlers in the national rankings at 157 pounds, 174 pounds and heavyweight.

UP NEXT FOR THE HOOS
The Cavaliers return to action at home against Virginia Tech on Sunday, Feb. 11 in a 1 p.m. dual meet at Memorial Gym. It’s the final home meet of the season for the Cavaliers who will honor seniors in a ceremony prior to the start of the dual with the Hokies.
