CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Sophomore Dontayvion Wicks, who leads the Atlantic Coast Conference in receiving yards, was one of eight receivers added to the Watch list of the Biletnikoff Award, annually presented to the college football season’s most outstanding FBS receiver. He joins teammate Billy Kemp IV who was featured on the award’s preseason list.

The Cavaliers are the only ACC school with multiple players on the watch list and one of seven programs nationally to have two or more on the list.

Wicks has amassed 480 yards receiving, the sixth most in college football through the first four games of the season. He has back-to-back games of 100 or more yards receiving going into this week’s contest against Miami. Back on Sept. 18, the seven balls for a career-high, 183 yards also the sixth most in a single-game ever by a Cavalier receiver.

Wicks also leads the team in touchdown catches with four, including a two-touchdown performance against Illinois on Sept. 11. The second-year has a touchdown catch in each of the last three games.

Receivers are frequently added to the watch list as their season performances dictate. Semifinalists will be announced on Nov. 22 and the list will be narrowed down to three finalists on Nov. 29. The award winner will be revealed on the Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Dec. 9.

Every fan may vote once daily on the Biletnikoff Award FanVote page. The aggregate fan tally will be counted as one official vote to determine semi-finalists (ten receivers), finalists (three receivers), and the winner.
