PITTSBURGH, Pa.- The University of Virginia won the open women’s eight to highlight a successful day at the Head of Ohio Regatta on Saturday (Oct. 3).
The Virginia women also won the lightweight eight, the open pair, the open double and the lightweight four. Villanova, the national champion in the lightweight eight last season, finished second to the Cavaliers on Saturday. Virginia’s Christina Hillson finished first in the open single competition.
UVa competes in the Head of Charles Regatta on October 18 in Boston, Mass.
