Virginia’s Eliese Mitchell competed in the NCAA Track & Field Championships today in the weight throw, tossing 17.46m. She was one of only 16 athletes selected to compete in the weight throw for this year’s meet. Mitchell hold the Cavalier records in the indoor shot put, which she set this season, along with the weight throw and the hammer.
