CHARLOTTESVILLE – The University of Virginia men’s basketball team will play at St. John’s University in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament on Monday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. The game will be played at St. John’s Alumni Hall in Jamaica, N.Y.
Virginia defeated Brown University and St. John’s beat Boston University in first round NIT games on Wednesday (March 19).
The Virginia athletic ticket office will take applications for a limited number of tickets on Thursday (March 20) beginning at 9:00 a.m. Applications will be accepted in person at the athletic ticket office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium or by telephone by calling 1-800-542-8821 or 434/924-8821.
