NORFOLK, Va. – Virginia sophomores Brandi Teamer (Joliet, Ill.) and Cherrise Graham (Conshohocken, Pa.) were named to the 2003 VaSID Second Team, as voted on by the Virginia Sports Information Directors’ Association on Thursday.
Teamer, a 6-2 forward, finished second in team scoring with 13.6 ppg and a team-best 6.9 rpg in 30 contests. She also earned first team All-State and second team All-ACC honors this season.
Graham, a 5-7 guard, was the Hoos’ leading scorer with 14.8 ppg off the bench. She earned second team All-ACC and honorable mention All-State accolades.
Virginia (17-14) concluded the 2003 season with its 20th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
