DURHAM, NC – The University of Virginia men’s tennis team lost for just the fourth time this season on Saturday, falling 7-0 at No. 8 Duke. The match was played indoors due to inclement weather. Virginia falls to 20-4 overall, 4-2 in the ACC, with the loss.

Duke took an early lead by sweeping the three doubles matches for the doubles point. The Blue Devils then swept all six singles matches for the 7-0 win. However, in three of the matches, the result was decided by a tiebreaker in place of a third set.

The Cavaliers look to rebound Sunday when they visit No. 41 North Carolina.
