CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia softball team’s doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday (April 9) against Virginia Tech in Blacksburg has been postponed due to inclement weather. The doubleheader will be made up either April 16 or 17 in Blacksburg, Va. The exact date and time will be announced later this week.
The Cavaliers, who stand at 26-17 overall and 1-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, return to action this weekend with a pair of doubleheaders. UVa travels to Chapel Hill, N.C. for an ACC doubleheader at North Carolina on Saturday (April 12) with the first game scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. On Sunday (April 13), Virginia plays at doubleheader at Elon College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
