Virginia’s Kiamesha Otey was named ACC Track & Field Performer of the Week following her triple-gold performance at the Lou Onesty/Milton G. Abramson Invitational on Saturday, April 12. Otey won the 100m, 200m, and long jump competitions, setting conference-bests in each of the three events. The Quinton, Va., native clocked an 11.57 finish in the 100 meters, 23.56 in the 200 meters and registered a 20’4.5″ mark in the long jump. All of her marks met NCAA regional standards and she will compete in the NCAA East Regional in Fairfax May 30-31.
