FORT WORTH, Texas – University of Virginia quarterback Matt Schaub (West Chester, Pa.) is a candidate for the prestigious Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award, the Davey Foundation announced on its watch list of 42 candidates.

The O’Brien Award, given annually to the nation’s top college quarterback, is the oldest and most prestigious award in the country for college quarterbacks.
