Virginia to Participate in First Tournament

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia women’s golf team will compete in its first tournament on Sept. 15-16 at the College of Charleston’s Cougar Fall Classic. Tee times are set for 8:30 a.m. each day.

The Cavaliers opened the fall season with a 302-329 victory of Richmond last Sunday.

Women’s golf is the 25th intercollegiate sport at Virginia. UVa now has 13 sports for women and 12 for men, including men?s golf.
