Big time games need big time fans, right? Remember to wear your orange gear for this Saturday’s game against Florida State. Head Coach Al Groh wants the Cavalier fans to remember ” the energy, passion and intensity in the stadium” during the home games against Duke and Wake Forest. An enthusiastic home crowd can only help the Cavaliers and create a strong home field advantage.
Game time for Saturday is set for 7:45pm. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN. All Virginia games are broadcast on the Virginia Sports Network, originating at WINA/WWWV in Charlottesville. Westwood One is providing nationwide radio coverage. The first 20,000 fans into the Stadium will receive Thunderstix. Orange Cavalier gear can be purchased at the UVA Bookstore or on its web site (www.bookstore.virginia.edu) in the “Orange Crush” section. Make sure you come early and cheer the Wahoos on to victory!
