Virginia to Participate in Mason Rudolph Championship

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia women’s golf team will participate in the Mason Rudolph Championship on Oct. 1-3. Hosted by Vanderbilt, the 18-team, 54-hole tourney tees off at the Legends Club Ironhorse Course in Franklin, Tenn.

The No. 14 nationally ranked Cavaliers, under the direction of second-year head coach Jan Mann, placed fourth in the season opener at the Cougar Classic. Sophomore Rachel Smith (Powell, Tenn.) became the first UVa player to earn medalist honors with her four-under 212.
