CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Less than 300 reserved seat tickets to the Virginia-Clemson football game on Thursday, Oct. 7 remain for sale, Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Office Management Dick Mathias announced on Monday.
Kickoff for the contest between No. 9 Virginia (4-0, 1-0 ACC) and Clemson (1-3, 1-2 ACC) is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Carl Smith Center, home of David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium. ESPN will televise the game live nationally.
Tickets may be purchased in-person at the Athletic Ticket Office in Bryant Hall, by telephone at 1-800-542-UVA1, or on-line at www.virginiasports.com.
At halftime, fans will be treated to a special performance as the Cavalier Marching Band performs with The Temptations Review starring Dennis Edwards. Combined, they’ll play classic hits, My Girl, Get Ready, The Way You Do the Things You Do, and Standing on the Top.
“I’m excited about it,” said Bill Pease, director of Cavalier Bands. “The band’s playing the back up music, and we’ll have dancers on the field. It should be a lot of fun.”
