GREENSBORO, N.C. – Virginia’s D’Brickashaw Ferguson (Freeport, N.Y.) earned ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors, the conference announced on Monday.

The junior had an “outstanding” overall performance in Thursday’s 30-10 win over Clemson, according to head coach Al Groh. The tackle helped the Cavaliers to 239 rushing yards and 464 yards of total offense, both the second-highest figures allowed by Clemson this season. UVa has rushed for at least 225 yards in all five games this season.

The ACC honor is the third in Ferguson’s UVa career.

Sixth-ranked Virginia (5-0, 2-0 ACC) travels to Tallahassee, Fla., for a game at No. 7 Florida State (4-1, 2-1 ACC) on Oct. 16. Kickoff is set for 7:45 p.m. on ESPN.
