CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Senior Elton Brown (Hampton, Va.) earned ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Brown helped the UVa offensive to 348 yards rushing and 511 yards of total offense in Saturday’s 37-16 win at Duke. He graded out at 90 percent. The Cavaliers rushed 61 times and only had three for losses. The 61 rushes are the most by UVa in 14 years, while the 348 yards on the ground are the most in six years.
The ACC honor is the fourth in Brown’s UVa career and second this season.
Virginia is idle this week, but returns to action on Nov. 6 against Maryland.
