CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 5 East seed Virginia women’s golf team participates in its first-ever NCAA Championship on May 17-20. First round action gets underway on Tuesday, May 17 as UVa tees off at 9:10 a.m. PDT.
In Wednesday’s second round, the Cavaliers begin play at 1:20 p.m. PDT. Tee times for Thursday’s third round and Friday’s final round will be determined by team standings with the earliest time set for 9 a.m. PDT. The field of 24 teams and six individuals will play 18 holes each day at the par 71 and 6,312-yard Meadows Course at the Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore.
Live scoring will be available on www.GolfStat.com, while the Golf Channel will televise the second, third, and fourth rounds on a tape delayed basis. Those rounds will air on the day following competition.

Tournament History: In just its second season of existence, Virginia makes its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Championship. Last year, UCLA overcame several rain delays and stiff competition to win its second national title. California’s Sarah Huarte shot a three-under 69 in the final round to capture the individual championship with a 10-under 278.
