The Virginia field hockey team lost 4-0 to Old Dominion today (Sep 3) in Norfolk despite six saves from keeper Katherine Blair. Virginia (2-1) allowed only one goal in the second half, keeping the Lady Monarchs off the scoreboard for the final 29 minutes of the game, as the defense allowed only three ODU shots in the second half.
Virginia returns to action next Saturday as the Cavaliers travel to Northwestern to take on Central Michigan on September 10 at 1:00 (CST). The Hoos will then face the host Wildcats on Sunday (Sep 11) at 1:00 (CST).
