Gelnovatch One Win Away from 150 Career Victories: Head Coach George Gelnovatch is closing in on 150 career victories as he is in his 10 season at the helm of the Cavalier program with a career record of 149-51-16 (including a 34-16-6 record in the ACC). On August 30, 2002, Gelnovatch recorded his 100th career win when Virginia defeated Kentucky 3-2. That made him the second UVa men’s soccer coach to reach the milestone, joining current United States National Team Head Coach Bruce Arena. Arena had a career record of 295-59-31 in 18 seasons at UVa.
