WEST POINT, N.Y. – Cavalier second-year women’s tennis player Rachel DelPriore (Williamsville, N.Y.) advanced to the round of 32 Saturday at the ITA East Regional at the United States Military Academy.
DelPriore, seeded No. 13, advanced with a win in the second round on Saturday. After receiving a first-round bye, she cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win over J.J. Larson of Virginia Tech. On Sunday, DelPriore will meet Jenny Shular of Penn State in the round of 32.
DelPriore and Douglas Wink (Greensboro, N.C.) are in the round of 64 of the doubles tournament, where they are the No. 5 seed.
