Virginia Sets School Record in Distance Medley Relay at Alex Wilson

The Virginia men’s distance medley team ran a school record 9:35.16 at the Alex Wilson Invitational and qualified for the NCAA Championships. The quartet of Alex Tatu, Brian Lee, Jordan Orr and Kevin McHale will race next weekend at Randal Tyson Track Center at the University of Arkansas. Tatu opened up with a 2:55 before handing off to Lee, who ran a 49.1. Orr ran a 1:49.9 and McHale closed with a 4:00.9 to bring home the record.
The Cavaliers continue competition tomorrow as Andy Biladeau and Jan Foerster will run in the 3000m.
