JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Virginia softball team’s game Friday afternoon (March 2) against No. 13 Michigan in the Crispers/JU Invitational has been canceled due to inclement weather in Jacksonville, Fla. UVa and Michigan were scheduled to play the first game of the tournament at 1 p.m. at Jacksonville University’s Ashley Sports Complex.
The Cavaliers’ contest against Notre Dame, which is slated to begin at 3 p.m. Friday, is still scheduled to be played. The start time, however, could be pushed back depending on the weather conditions.
Virginia enters the weekend with a 7-9 record.
