CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia volleyball team will host 10 teams for the 2007 Wahoo Spring Fling Tournament, which will take place Saturday (March 24) at Memorial Gym. The tournament, which features two separate brackets, begins at 10 a.m. with the final matches commencing at 5 p.m.
Virginia will play in a bracket with American, George Washington and perennial power Penn State. The teams competing in the other bracket are: Georgetown, James Madison, Liberty, UNC Greensboro, Radford, St. Francis (Pa.), and William & Mary. Matches will be held on three courts.
In the morning, the Cavaliers play American at 11 a.m. and then play Penn State at 2 p.m. and George Washington at 4 p.m.
