The No. 63 Virginia women’s tennis team (7-5, 1-2) hosts a pair of Atlantic Coast Conference rivals this weekend as they face No. 44 North Carolina State (9-5, 0-3) on Friday at 4 p.m. and No. 14 Wake Forest (8-3, 2-2) on Sunday at noon at the Snyder Tennis Center.
Virginia is coming off a 6-1 home victory against Virginia Tech on Mar. 15. With the victory, the Cavaliers clinched the outright Commonwealth Challenge title for Virginia. The score now stands Virginia, 11.5 points and Virginia Tech, 5.5 points.
After this weekend, the Cavaliers travel to Tallahassee, Fla. to take on the Florida State Seminoles on Mar. 31. Match time is 4 p.m.
