CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia women’s tennis match Saturday against Maryland has been moved indoors due to the forecast of cool temperatures and high winds. The match will start at noon at the Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.
The No. 49 Cavaliers (8-8, 2-5 ACC) will close out the regular season with a four-match homestand beginning Saturday against Maryland. The Terrapins (8-10, 1-6 ACC) are coming off a 6-1 victory over Georgetown on Tuesday that snapped their nine-match losing streak.
Virginia will host Boston College (4-12, 0-7 ACC) at noon on Sunday. That match is still scheduled to be played outdoors at the Snyder Tennis Center.
