CARY, N.C. – Jennifer Stevens (Miami, Fla.) was named to the All-ACC Women’s Tennis Team conference officials announced Thursday in the conjunction with the start of the ACC Tennis Tournament.
Stevens entered the weekend with a 10-10 dual match record, including a 4-7 record at No. 1 singles in the ACC. On Thursday, she scored a victory at No. 1 singles over NC State’s Daria Petrovic to lead the Cavaliers to a 4-2 win over the Wolfpack in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Cavaliers will play top-seeded Clemson in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament on Friday. Match time is 9 a.m.
