Charlottesville, Va. –
The Virginia men’s lacrosse game faces Maryland in the semifinals of the ACC Men’s Lacrosse Tournament Friday evening at 6 p.m. at Koskinen Stadium on the campus of Duke University in Durham, N.C.
The Cavaliers, the tournament’s second seed, are currently ranked third in the country with an 11-2 overall record. Maryland is the No. 3 seed and has a 9-4 overall record.
Virginia defeated the Terrapins 12-8 in Charlottesville in late March. This is the fourth year in a row the teams have met in the tournament. Last season the Cavaliers captured the ACC title with an 11-5 win over Maryland in the finals.
Top seed Duke (11-2) plays North Carolina (9-4) in Friday’s second semifinal game at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Both semifinal games are available for fans across the country to watch live and on-demand via webcast exclusively on ACCSelect.com. The games will also be available for fans to watch on an on-demand replay basis.
The championship game is Sunday at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised by FSN South, Sun Sports, New England Sports Network (NESN) and Comcast Sports Net.
