Joe Paterson pitched the final 3.2 innings without allowing a base-runner to pick up the win. He improves to 9-6 on season. Michael Schwimer took the loss for the Cavaliers, falling to 3-1.
The game remained scoreless until the Cavaliers (45-15) scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth. Beau Seabury and Jeremy Farrell hit back-to-back singles to open the inning.
