CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Tennis Channel will air the 2007 NCAA Singles Championship final between Virginia’s Somdev Devvarman (Chennai, India) and Georgia’s John Isner several times in the upcoming weeks. The broadcast of the match debuts on the network on Wednesday, June 20 at 8 p.m.
In the match, second-seeded Devvarman defeated top-seeded Isner 7-6, 4-6, 7-6 to win the NCAA Singles Championship. It was the first men’s tennis national title (team or individual) in ACC history.
The Tennis Channel will re-air the match the following week three times: Tuesday, June 26 at 8 p.m., Wednesday June 27 at noon, and Saturday, June 30 at 7 a.m.
The Tennis Channel is available in the Charlottesville area on Comcast channel 131 and on Dish Network on channel 400.
