Charlottesville, VA – Virginia sophomore Conrad Von Borsig (Swarthmore, Pa.) was named to the 2007 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men’s Golf Team as announced Thursday by ACC Commissioner John D. Swofford. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his/her academic career.
It marks the second straight year Von Borsig has received the honor. He is one of five golfers who earned all-conference honors this past season to make the academic team
Von Borsig led the Cavaliers this season with a 73.67 stroke average and was the team’s top finisher in six of the 10 tournaments he played.
