What has been your most memorable athletic accomplishment?
Lyndra Littles:
Getting a scholarship to play basketball at the University of Virginia.

If you could take two attributes from two teammates, what would you take and from whom?
LL:
I would take Aisha’s strength and Abby’s footwork.

If there was an athletic shoe named after you, what would it be called?
LL:
L Dots.

Who is the toughest player you’ve ever guarded?
LL:
My dad.

What grade would you give to the team so far this season?
LL:
An A-minus. We’ve been playing good but you don’t get to an A-plus until you’re great.

Is Maryland a game you look forward to since you are from Washington, D.C.?
LL:
Yes, it is always a big game. They’re so deep with so much talent which is a huge strength for them.

What is the best thing about playing basketball at UVa?
LL:
John Paul Jones Arena.

What is your first basketball memory?
LL:
Being in the living room with my cousins, we were watching Barney. Barney had this big huge ball and he would bounce it and throw the ball over his leg. So that’s how I learned to dribble the ball between my legs.

If you were drawing up the game-winning play, who would you want to take the shot?
LL:
Me. I feel like personally that any competitor should want the responsibility of the game-winning shot.

What is something people would be surprised to know about your team?
LL:
To be on our team, you have to have tough skin. Like the way you are with your family at a family reunion or a Christmas dinner.

Who are your inspirations?
LL:
My grandfather, John Littles.

Who is your favorite athlete at Virginia?
LL:
Chris Long [Football].
