CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. Mini Plans for the 2008 Virginia baseball season go on sale Friday at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office. The 10-game mini plans cost $40 per seat.
Fans can choose any 10 games, allowing them to customize a plan that works best for them. Virginia has a total of 40 home games this season. Mini Plans save $30 (over 40 percent) off single-game ticket prices.
All Mini Plan seating is in the General Admission sections of Davenport Field. This includes the grandstand, grassy hillside along the left-field line and the new bleachers beyond the left-field fence.
Fans can order 10-game Mini Plans beginning at 9 a.m. Friday online at virginiasports.com, by calling the ticket office at (800) 542-8821 or by visiting the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
ACC foes Boston College, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest and several intrastate rivals, including preseason No. 25 Old Dominion, comprise a challenging home slate this season.
Virginia, ranked as high as No. 17 in the preseason polls, opens the 2008 season Feb. 22 vs. Lehigh.
