CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. The Virginia softball team’s doubleheader at Radford scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday has been cancelled because of inclement weather. A make-up date has not yet been set.
The Cavaliers (18-7, 1-2 ACC) welcome Virginia Tech for a three-game series at The Park this weekend. The two teams will play a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday before concluding the series at 1 p.m. Sunday. On Sunday, the field will be rededicated and Virginia Athletics Director Craig Littlepage is scheduled to throw out the first pitch.
